ATTENTION FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS

Needing Assistance for the Down Payment and Closing Costs

We were pleased to assist a First Time Home Buyer to take advantage of the “Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program”. Some of the eligible occupations are full time teachers, firefighters, nurses and other healthcare professionals, law enforcement officers and childcare employees.

The program has several benefits to a First Time Homebuyer including Down Payment and Closing Costs assistance of 5% of the mortgage amount up to $35,000 (recently increased from $25,000) in the form of a 0% non-amortizing 30 year second mortgage.

A good credit score will be needed along with 3 hr Homebuyer Education Course. The Hillsborough County loan limit is $420,680 and Hillsborough County Income Cap is $130,350.

Fortunately, we enjoy an excellent working relationship with Tampa mortgage company who has a sound working knowledge of the Florida Hometown Hero program and can smooth the bumps out of applying for a mortgage while we are searching for your FIRST HOME.
